Congratulations to all Hilliard Staff and Students for achieving an Acceptable Rating for 2007-2008. Final results are as follows:

    Congratulations to Ms. Irene Cann, A. G. Hilliard Elementary School's 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Cann is one of our Second Grade teachers.
    End of School Year 2007-2008
    As the year ends, here are a few important notes for all parents and students:
  • No student is permitted on campus prior to 7:15 AM. Students will not be allowed into the building due to lack of supervision before then.
  • All students must arrive before before 7:50 AM. Instruction will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
  • Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM in the classroom.
  • All students must comply to the uniform policy. It can be located in the dress code section on the left of the home webpage.

Our commitment is to teach academic and social skills to ensure that our young learners are prepared to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible productive citizens. We believe in high standards, high expectations, and mutual accountability for our staff, students, and parents.

    The Learning Community of A.G. Hilliard Elementary School is to improve the quality of education and increase student achievement by developing self-disciplined students who exhibit leadership, independence, and self-respect. With the support and collaboration from all stakeholders - parents, students, business partners, community members, teachers and administrators - A.G. Hilliard's learning community will be able to bring about an improvement in student achievement.
