Mathematics Club
Oak Village Mu Alpha PI is dedicated to inspiring keen interests in mathematics, developing strong reasoning and problem solving skills, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. All students current enrolled in Algebra I and GT Math must be active participants of the math club. The club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

National Junior Honor Society is made up of students who are elected by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, and service. To become eligible, a student must be in Grade 7 or 8 and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The exact GPA required is established by the faculty council and is generally a 3.5 GPA for all grades completed in the middle school. Grades received in grade 6 do count toward the GPA. Be sure to keep the grades up if you want to be considered. | | |

Young Educated Scientist
The purpose of YES is to:
-promote higher standards of scientific research and experimentation
-promote better attitudes toward science
-link acquired scientific skills to everyday life situations
The members shall work together as a unit promoting interest through many activities related to Science. Members shall be responsible, dependable, and have at least a C in Science and an S in conduct.

This club will provide a wealth of knowledge about reading strategies, in-depth discussions, and cultural stories that will enlighten the creativity and imagination to become a better writer, reader, and problem solver. | | |

Determined - Individual - Vikinetts - Appreciating - Society
The Mission of the Viking D.I.V.A.S. organization is to educate young girls on accomplishing their individual goals in academics and in the community. The organization will also promote a positive environment for young girls to build their own self - esteem techniques, social skills and character.
