It is a requirement at Oak Village that all students wear their uniforms from Monday-Friday.

The dress code is as follows:

• Students should be neat and clean and fully clothed at all times. The trunk of the body
must be covered, and undergarments should not be visible.
• Shorts, dresses and skirts must be of appropriate length.
• Shirt or blouses must cover the stomach area and provide coverage with an appropriate neckline.
• Excessively baggy or intentionally torn pants are not considered appropriate dress for school.
• Skin tight leggings(bike pants)are inappropriate dress unless accompanied by an over garment of approved length.
• Pants should be worn at the waist and a belt must be worn if the pants have loops.
• Students must wear shoes for their own protection. However house shoes and thongs are not permitted.
• Shirt tails must be tucked in and only the collar button is permitted to be unbuttoned.
• Boys will not be allowed to wear earrings.
• Piercing of body parts(except girls’ ears) and tattoos are not permitted(must be covered).

6 Grade-White
7 Grade-Light Blue
8 Grade-Navy
(No striped or multi-colored shirts allowed)
Bottoms-Khaki or Navy (No denim, No black bottoms of any kind, stripes, spandex, or corduroy)

Navy,light blue or white (solid colored) shirts with collars
Short or long sleeves
No form fitting or short blouses (Abdomen should not be seen)
Undershirts should be one solid color of white or blue(ONLY).
Collars and sleeves must be the same color as the shirt. No Logos allow on shirts.
ALL SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN AT THE WAIST!!!

Navy or Khaki pants/shorts must be appropriate in fit (not baggy) and worn at the waist.
** Shorts must be knee length.
No denim,No black bottoms of any kind, jeans, spandex, or corduroy material is allowed.
Sweat or athletic style pants are not acceptable.
Capri Pants (No spandex)
Pants should be worn at the waist and belt must be worn.

Skirts, skorts and jumper dresses of solid navy or Khaki must be knee-length.
They must be straight, A-line or pleated. (No tennis skirts or deep splits.)
No denim, jean, or spandex material is allowed.

Sweaters/Cardigans Solid Colors: Navy or White
Jackets: Navy or White and should be close fitting and in the colors of white or blue. Hoodies are not permitted.
No large purses
Clear (see-through) backpacks or mesh backpacks ONLY.

Students must wear shoes for their own protection. However house shoes and thongs are not permitted.
Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. Rubber sole shoes with enclosed toe and heel are permitted.
Solid black or white tennis shoes.
