Kirby Middle School Dress Code |
The selections for Kirby’s standard code of dress are as follows: |

Colors: |
ALL SOLIDS
Shirts-Red or White (No striped or multi-colored shirts allowed)
Bottoms-Khaki (No denim, stripes, spandex, or corduroy) |

Shirts: |
Red or white (solid colored) shirts with collars
Short or long sleeves
No form fitting or short blouses (Abdomen should not be seen)
Undershirts should be one solid color of black, red, or white.
Collars and sleeves must be the same color as the shirt.
ALL SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN AT THE WAIST!!! |

Pants/Shorts: |
Khaki pants/shorts must be fitted (not baggy) and worn at the waist.
** Shorts must be knee length.
No denim, jean, spandex, or corduroy material is allowed.
Sweat or athletic style pants are not acceptable.
Capri Pants (No spandex)
Pants should be worn at the waist and belt must be worn if the pants have belt loops. |

Skirts/Jumpers: |
Skirts, skorts and jumper dresses of solid khaki must be knee-length.
They must be straight, A-line or pleated. (No tennis skirts or deep splits.)
No denim, jean, or spandex material is allowed. |

Accessories: |
Sweaters/Cardigans Solid Colors: Red, White, or Black
Jackets: Red, Black or White
No large purses
Clear (see-through) backpacks or mesh backpacks
NO HOODED JACKETS |

Shoes: |
Enclosed shoes should be worn at all times.
Loafer/Boots are allowed.
Solid black, white, or red tennis shoes. |

Belts: |
Belts must be worn if the garment has belt loops.
Colors: Black, Brown, Red, or Clear. |
|
Socks: |
Socks must be visible and must be ankle length.
No ankle socks that cannot be seen. (Colors: Red, White, or Black) |

Note to Parents: |
The Standard Code of Dress will be worn each day (Monday through Friday). It is suggested that parents buy at least three sets (3 tops- 3 bottoms) of clothing to accommodate a week’s attire.
