Ms. Annie Boykins - Library Assistant

The school library is a vital part of the campus. Classes are held weekly for students in all grade levels. Students are encouraged to visit the library for reading, research, checking out books and/or to use the computer. The library also sponsors an annual book fair.

The Accelerated Reader Program is a computerized reading program where students:

1. Select a book
2. Read the book completely with understanding.
3. Take a test on the computer.
4. Score points and receive prizes for the best points scored.

Student participation has been great schoolwide. There have been scores of 100% in each grade level.

Parents are welcomed and encouraged to stop by the library and witness the excitement and success of the accelerated reader.

The Early Bird Reading Club is a program offered in the Library for students who arrive to school early. Students are allowed to come in and read a book, magazine or newspaper from 7:15 to 7:30 a.m. before they start their day. "The Early Bird Catches The Charm".

Student photo I.D. badges are issued in the library. Students and staff must wear badges at all times.
