Students will be placed in work-based learning experiences linked to academic content. A business mentor, who is an expert in the chosen career content area, will guide each student in accomplishing stated learning goals. School To Career Coordinators will collaborate with students and business mentors to design a learning plan to meet curriculum indicators, industry standards, and individual student goals. School To Career Coordinators, students, and business mentors will meet periodically to assess student progress toward mastering learning goals. Students will receive necessary safety instruction and will abide by all child labor standards.
